Miele si e' sempre interessato al settore della Gastroenterologia Pediatrica ed in particolare al settore dell'Endoscopia Digestiva e allo studio della Motilita' Gastrointestinale, collaborando alla diagnostica clinica e di laboratorio e all'assistenza di bambini affetti da disordini motori gastrointestinali, da reflusso gastroesofageo, da stipsi cronica, da malattie infiammatorie croniche intestinali,etc. 8.
