TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL POLICIES

 Festival will be held rain or shine.  Fol owing applicant’s approval, payment wil be processed. No refunds will be given  Kanata Canada Day Inc. reserves the right to refuse any vendor.  All vendors must provide their own liability insurance, tent, tables, displays, signage,  Only Marketplace items approved by Kanata Canada Day Inc. during the selection  Kanata Canada Day Inc. is not responsible for accidents or stolen items.
BOOTH FEES: $300 Booth space is 10’x10’.
TYPES OF BOOTHS ACCEPTED

 Hand Made Arts & Crafts items.
 Commercial Booths.
 Informational Booths such as Realtors, etc.  Services such as Chair Massage, Henna, etc.  Farmer’s Market Booths featuring local y grown produce, jams, jellies, breads, etc.
VENDOR SELECTION
Vendor selection will be determined by Kanata Canada Day Inc. Vendors representing local
businesses will be given first priority. Selection will be based on information provided in
application. Application does not guarantee participations as space is limited. Applicants not
selected will be refunded any fees paid upon application.
Any changes to original vendor application must be pre-approved.

VENDOR SET-UP, CLEANUP & TRASH REMOVAL
Kanata Canada Day Inc. representatives will be onsite by 7:00 am on event day to assist vendor
setup. Set up is to be complete and vehicles removed from event site by 10:30 a.m.
Vendors are responsible for removing any and all trash generated by their booth. Canada Day
in Kanata is a ‘green’ event and strongly encourages recycling and composting (where
applicable). We request you not distribute single use plastic water bottles.
COMMUNICATION
You must provide a valid e-mail address that you check frequently. All communication, including
your acceptance, space assignment, festival map, etc. will be sent via e-mail.

VENDOR COMMITTMENT
If selected, vendors must commit to follow through with their obligation to provide
merchandise/information as outlined in their application. If vendor is not able to fulfill their
commitment 10 days’ notice must be given.
Vendor fees are non-refundable once application accepted by Kanata Canada Day Inc.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
All vendors are required to sign and return this Hold Harmless Agreement with their Vendor Application. By acceptance of this agreement, the exhibitor waives all claims against Kanata Canada Day Inc. for any and all liability for any damage, injury, theft, or loss incurred before, during, or as a result of Canada Day in Kanata festivities. The exhibitor will indemnify and hold harmless Kanata Canada Day Inc. from any and all claims, actions, or judgments arising from and related to the exhibitor’s participation in Canada Day in Kanata, including the acts of the exhibitor’s employees and helpers.
