Tokyo, Japan – October 28, 2013 – BASF received the “Technical Award”
at the 30th Symposium on Particulate Preparations and Designs on October
17 and 18 in Tokyo, Japan. BASF was rewarded for the technical
breakthrough on drug design and preparation in the pharmaceutical industry.

The award was presented to BASF by Division of Particulate Preparation and
Design (PPD) in the Society of Powder Technology Japan, the organizing

and Services Asia Pacific, BASF. “The Award shows our continuous
commitment in developing innovations for the pharmaceutical industry. Based
